Dr. Stacy J. Adkinson, Ed.D., President & Chief Academic Officer

Dr. Stacy Adkinson serves as Chief Operating Officer, where she leads in the development of an engaging academic partnership for CapEd clients through the Virtual Campus platform, course development, faculty development, and the overall student experience. Dr. Adkinson also serves as a member of the Business Development team, providing strategic assessments to prospective clients, while also facilitating academic improvement and expansion processes for existing clients.

Dr. Adkinson served as Executive Vice President at the University of Saint Francis, and received her Doctor of Education degree from Ball State University, with a focus in Higher Education, Adult Education, Organizational Development and Leadership.

Heather Sayre Jordan, President & Chief Client Officer

Heather Sayre Jordan works closely with Capital Education partner institutions to develop strategic and sustainable growth initiatives. The comprehensive strategy builds toward an ongoing assessment of the regional market opportunities aligned with the institution’s online program offerings and the development of responsive and efficient support systems to facilitate enrollment and programmatic growth. Heather also leads a team enabling the development of strategic relationships with significant employers and constituencies within client geographic region. During her 20+ years in higher education, Heather has provided adult program leadership for Benedictine University, Olivet Nazarene University, and the Institute for Professional Development. Heather holds a B.A. in English from the University of Nebraska and an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Niaz Hoda, Director of IT

Niaz manages all aspects of Capital Education’s robust information technology infrastructure with a focus on business continuity and high availability of systems. Niaz has more than 18 years of experience helping organizations harness leading edge technology to achieve ambitious business goals. During his tenure, he has been involved in the design, implementation and management of robust and sustainable IT infrastructure. He has also incubated off-shore support centers to augment stateside facilities. Prior to joining Capital Education, Niaz served with Cardean Learning Group, AOL, Rush University Medical Center, and Fireman Fund’s Insurance. Niaz has a B.S. in Computer Science from National University, Los Angeles and holds an MBA in Leadership and Change Management from New York Institute of Technology.

Tim Vanderkolk, Virtual Campus Director

Tim is responsible for the implementation of the Capital Education learning management platform. Tim has over ten years of experience with Capital Education in roles including Quality Assurance Analyst and Release Management. In his current role of Virtual Campus Director, it is Tim's goal to work with Capital Education's partner institutions to provide the highest quality user experience. Prior to joining Capital Education, Tim worked at Michaels Stores, Inc. for 12 years in roles including Quality Assurance Analyst and Senior Call Center Analyst.
